A loom rests on a wooden table, warp threads taut in parallel. Bright yarns—turquoise, coral, mustard, soft gray—lie by spools and tools, promising texture and color. A glass of wine catches the light nearby, its garnet depth mirroring the richest yarns and suggesting a quiet pause between thoughtful passes. Natural light reveals the smooth shuttle, wool’s soft fuzz, and crisp woven edges.
Weave & Wine Party An evening benefiting Intertwine Arts
Thursday, June 18, 2026
6:00 – 8:30 PM
57 West 57th Street, Penthouse, New York, NY
Co-hosted by Chelsea Bizub
Join us for an intimate evening high above midtown Manhattan, where art, community, and the healing benefits of weaving come together.
This curated cocktail gathering for Intertwine Arts' supporters and friends, includes a hands-on weaving experience guided by our teaching artists. Every guest will create their own mini-canvas weaving to take home: a tangible, one-of-a-kind piece of the mission. Enjoy drinks, h'ordeuvres, and conversation while taking in the striking views of the city.
You will also have the chance to meet and speak with program artists and hear directly about the work happening in our programs.
Intertwine Arts brings weaving to adults and children with disabilities and chronic illness, partnering with hospitals, day habilitation programs, and community organizations across the five boroughs. Research continues to affirm what our participants already know: weaving heals. This evening is a chance to experience that for yourself.
Your contribution supports Intertwine's programs and the artists who are the heart of this work.
