Touch Tour

You are invited to experience the sensorial wonder of the Woven Together Exhibition through a gallery tour with vivid verbal descriptions and a wealth of tactile opportunities. A.K.A, you get to touch the art as you learn about it! The tour itself will run for ninety minutes. There will be a fifteen minute period for people to arrive and get oriented, and another fifteen minute period for additional Q&A at the end.

About Danah

Danaleah Schoenfuss (any/all pronouns) is the Program Director of Intertwine Arts, and has six years of tour experience. They have previously held positions at The American Museum of Natural History, The New York Transit Museum, The Children’s Museum of Manhattan and The Mashantucket Pequot Museum. She also has her own multi-medium arts practice primarily within the worlds of weaving, braiding, and metalwork, where they express their autism through stim and tactile explorations.

This workshop will take place at Positive Exposure Gallery, a warm and welcoming space dedicated to making art accessible and inclusive. The gallery is designed to be a comfortable environment where everyone can explore, create, and connect.
